If you know me, you know I am a Christmas girl through and through! In my opinion there’s no better way to kick off the holiday festivities than in the true spirit—immersing ourselves in the joy of giving with a toy drive for local Goldsboro non-profit Kriquette's Kids!
The vision behind the Kriquette's Kids Toy Drive Christmas Mini Sessions is to combine capturing special festive moments with making a meaningful impact. Each session, infused with the spirit of giving, contributes to a fantastic cause, as participants purchased new toys and a cozy blanket for a child in need this Christmas.
This opportunity has already collectively helped the EPP community embrace the magic of the holidays and the power of photography to make a positive difference in our community. Our first round of mini sessions was this past Saturday. Here’s a sneak peek!
The Missicks brought playfulness to their session. Judah's love for sharks shone through as he animatedly shared his fascination with these ocean creatures. Gracie, on the other hand, excitedly displayed the charm of her recorder as she played one during our time together. And of course, the matching family Grinch pajamas and bright smiles gleamed as brightly as tinsel on the tree.
The Randolph family’s session was a testament to the joy found in simplicity. Although Cole, Nate, and Emily were a little shy at first, an unexpected moment of humor arose when Nate introduced himself as "um…Nate," which I misheard as Omnate and promptly started calling him. The resulting laughter set the tone for a session filled with unfiltered joy and candid family moments. The Randolphs opted for family pictures over tree-decorating shots, proving that the magic lies not in the decorations but in the shared love and laughter of a close-knit family.
The last Kriquette's Kids Toy Drive Christmas Mini Session is coming up on Sunday, November 19th. I am so excited for even more heartwarming stories and the opportunity to spread joy through Kriquette's Kids. Remember, decorating the tree is optional—what matters most is the shared love, laughter, and spirit of giving.
If you'd like to be a part of this heartwarming initiative there's still one spot left for next Sunday. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to embrace the joy of giving and the magic of the season with Kriquette's Kids and Emily Person Photography!
