Today I'm excited to share a little recap of the very merry "Jingle In the Park" which was held in downtown Goldsboro’s Herman Park this past weekend. “Jingle in the Park” is a highly anticipated annual event put on by the Goldsboro Parks and Rec department, turning the city park into a scene straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
It's a local highlight during the holiday season, so when my friend Jordan, the brain behind this awesome event, reached out about Emily Person Photography capturing the magic, I couldn't say no. Even though it was my first time participating, my hopes were high because Jordan's touch makes everything sparkle!
The park was transformed into a holiday wonderland with twinkling lights and Christmas movies playing in the open air. The line for Pictures with Santa snaked underneath a beautiful lighted archway and past giant Christmas inflatables. There was even a Christmas train ride, tasty treats like funnel cakes and popcorn, and, of course, a photo op courtesy of Emily Person Photography. It was a blast for the whole family.
In the heart of Goldsboro, our community shines a little brighter during the Christmas season. As we gather under the twinkle of lights, “Jingle in the Park” is a reminder that the true magic of the holidays lies in the togetherness we cultivate.
As someone who loves being part of this wonderful community, I'm truly grateful that we have events like these that add magic to Goldsboro. The city's commitment to offering these experiences for free reflects the warmth and unity we share as residents. "Jingle In the Park” is a tradition that keeps our holiday spirits high. I can't wait for the festivities to roll around again next year!
