It’s always special when I get to photograph a family that I already share connections with! Growing up, my dad knew Angela and Dexter, and now, the Davises and my parents share the same church pews.
The Davis family chose their picturesque neighborhood reservoir pier as our backdrop. Their neutral outfits really popped against the emerald water and bare tree branches lining the shore. For our second location, we transitioned to a wooded area with beautiful fall colors. Ultimately, we created a set of images that reflected the warmth and sweetness of the Davis family.
The star of the session, though, was Vann, a senior in high school who is hoping to study engineering at NC State after graduation. We made sure to capture his individuality with some solo shots to mark this exciting year in his life! One particular image truly encapsulated his spirit, earning Angela's approval as she remarked, "that's so him!
